			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><span style="color: white" lang="EN"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><font face="Arial"><font color="#000000"><span style="font-size: 10pt">PSM Program graduates are now eligible to gain credit in the <strong>Master of Health Administration</strong> at Flinders University. This arrangement, with the Faculty of Health Sciences, will be valid for 3 years, or up to the scheduled PSM program review date, whichever is earlier.</span></font></font></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: white" lang="EN"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><font face="Arial"><font color="#000000"><span style="font-size: 10pt"></span><span style="font-size: 10pt">Provided that you have achieved a credit average in your PSM Program studies, you will receive credit for one of the core topics, HSMT9012 Managing People and Organisations in Health and Aged Care (6 units) and 2 elective topics (2 x 6 units).<span>  </span>This is a total of 18 units or 1/3 of the program. Pro-rata credit (12 units) is also available in the <strong>Graduate Diploma in Health Administration.</strong></span></font></font></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: white" lang="EN"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><font face="Arial"><font color="#000000"><span style="font-size: 10pt"></span><span style="font-size: 10pt">Please note that entry to the postgraduate health administration programs requires both qualifications, and postgraduate professional experience, as follows:</span></font></font></span></span></p>
<p><span style="color: white" lang="EN"><span style="font-size: 10pt"><font face="Arial"><font color="#000000"><span style="font-size: 10pt"></span><strong><span style="font-size: 10pt">Graduate Diploma in Health Administration </span></strong><span style="font-size: 10pt">- an approved degree or equivalent qualification from an approved tertiary institution and not less than 2 years&#8217; professional experience in the health sector following completion of the degree or equivalent qualification.</span></font></font></span></span></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>The Office for Ethical Standards and Professional Integrity</strong> began operating on 3/11/08 and will focus on ethics in the public sector.</p>
<p>Headed by new Commissioner for Public Employment Warren McCann, the office will bring together several functions which support the Commissioner including ethical conduct, succession planning and workforce data collection previously carried out by the Public Sector Workforce Division. As a result PSWD has been renamed Public Sector Workforce Relations and will focus on crucial industrial issues over the next 12 months.</p>
<p>The SA PSM Program has been transferred to this new office effective November 3 2008.</p>
<p>Our office location and postal address remains unchanged.</p>

<p>We anticipate that the re-fresh of our curriclum will be completed by the end of the year and this intake will be the first to have access to updated readings, data, tables and content. The topics in each Unit will not be altered.</p>
<p>In line with the updated content and based on feedback from both facilitators and participants, the face to face contact time will increase from the February intake. The total number of workshop days will increase from 12 to 14 as follows:</p>

<p>Unit 3 - 3 days</p>
<p>Unit 4 - 4 days</p>
<p>There will be no increase to the Program fees until May 1, 2009.</p>
